On this page we will try to give you useful information about the mobile disco services that we operate primarily in Essex and the surrounding areas. We will also try to help you with useful tips for getting the best services for your special event.

We believe that we are quite a unique company in the way that we work and look after our very special clients. We work to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard to make sure that you get outstanding service. Nothing is too much trouble and we do not have restrictions relating to the amount of time that we spend with you to help you get an excellent event .

There is much talk about Third Party Liability Insurance and what companies should have. We hold this insurance for £10,000,000.00 (ten million pounds) through the Musicians Union so you may be sure there will be no short comings in this important area.

There is also lots of talk about PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing). We have our own equipment for this absolutly essential service, and look after many other companies that require their equipment to be tested. In 2006 Richard passed the City and Guilds examination for the management of electrical appliances, relating to PAT testing.

When booking contractors, you may be best advised to see their client testimonials. Some suppliers may have a few and some may have many. We have 100's of very high quality client testimonials that we are very proud of and that we would be pleased to show you. Many of our clients say that we are the best in the mobile disco business. Our quality standard is world class and that should be the standard that you should have for your own function. We were the highest placed disco company in the Wrapit Awards for excellence in the wedding industry.

A sad fact and a warning to brides
I recommended one of my DJ colleagues to a venue that had phoned me and asked me to work there on a regular basis. I am too busy to make a commitment on a regular basis to any one venue and they do not pay my going rate anyway. They want cheap services and they will get the quality of services that they deserve for the money that they want to pay. However this will reflect on what the client gets!

Now here is the crunch! I was trying to help the venue out by recommending one of the DJs that I list on this site. That DJ phoned them and offered his help. The venue offered to pay him £350.00 per session. However they then stated that they wanted £100.00 cash back from each booking!

Does that mean that the bride gets the best deal? Is that an honest way to do business? I would love to name and shame, but guess where the repercussions would be aimed. The venue is on the Dengie near Burnham, Essex and be warned - if you want to be abused by the owner, it would be an ideal place to work.

Please, if you are a venue and you read this, treat your suppliers with a little bit of respect and do not abuse the help and professionalism that we are trying to generate in the wedding business.

This is a rare occurrence as most venues are client focussed and honest, but a very sad indication that some venue owners are not past making even more money, and not in an up front way.

Will this practice give the couples that are getting married the best service and value for money?
Will the contractors that are being bullied into these sharp practices, have the right margins to offer the best service?

I believe that the professional people who have excellent reputations will not be tempted to work at venues that want to treat them like this. It is not up front for the venue's clients, disrespectful to the supplier and to the brides and grooms that are looking for true value for money and quality services!

This is a sorry little note but I had to write it. I feel sorry for the staff at the venue who are being dragged down to the level of the owner, or are they just as bad?
